The Americana Celebration takes place on Saturday, June 30, at the White House Soccer complex.
Since 2013, the White House Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of White House has joined forces to put on the big event.
The event will feature food trucks, live music, inflatables, games, and a spectacular firework show presented by Brandon Webster of Exit Realty Garden Gate Team.
White House Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mandy Christenson says this will be a night of fun for the entire family.
“We would like to invite everyone from other communities to come visit us,” Christenson said. “There will be something for everyone from the live music to the inflatables.”
Food truck row should be a huge hit. Some of the ones confirmed include Food Truck Row is Kona Ice of Madison, TN, Banjo’s Food Truck, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Chicken Shack Express, Don Miguel Juicery + Rustic Kitchen, Delaney’s Street Eats, Roscoe’s Smoked Bar-B-Que, LLC, Mojo Cookie Dough Food Truck and Caterer, Erica’s Touch of Taste, MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream & Great American Cookies, Bob’s Fish Fry, Clay Kitchen “The Dawg House”, Whitt’s BBQ, Oliver’s Icebox and Bojangles.
The music starts at 5 p.m. with local favorites, Tommy Ross and TCB. The second act will feature award winning country music act Tenille Arts. Tenille is signed to Reviver Records and performed an original song on this season of The Bachelor. Between sets you will see White Houses own Stacy David’s Gearz from the TV show Gearz Nation. He will be performing with Sgt. Rock for people to see.
Americana Celebration goers will have an opportunity to see the cast of the Robertson County Players perform scenes from Footloose.
The music continues at 8 p.m. with Rubiks Groove. At 9 p.m. the fireworks show will begin that will light up the sky over White House. After the fireworks Rubiks Groove will come back and play to 11 p.m.
Events kickoff on Tuesday, June 26; the carnival will be setup at the soccer complex with rides, games, food, and more fun. The carnival hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday the carnival is open 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Armbands are $20 Tuesday-Friday and Saturday the armbands are $25.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blankets.
Free shuttles will begin running at 3 p.m. from White House City Hall (ADA bus), The Church at Grace Park and White House Middle School. Onsite parking will be $10 and benefits White House Heritage.
