Award winning Discover White House this Saturday

WHITE HOUSE, TN- Are you looking for a family friendly, free and fun event to attend this weekend? Head on over to the Discover White House Expo and Safety Day event on Saturday, April 14th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at White House Heritage High School. Presented by The Farmers Bank and the White House Area Chamber of Commerce, you can enjoy over 90 local businesses featuring special items, shopping opportunities, free goodies and lots of great information. Also, you could bring home a forever friend because the Robertson County Animal Shelter will have both dogs and cats available for adoption!

You don’t even have to worry about leaving the event to grab lunch because food trucks, and other food vendors, like Roscoe’s Smoked Bar-B-Que, Bojangles’, Hole in the Wall BBQ, Mojo Cookie Dough & Creamery, Don Miguel Juicery & Rustic Kitchen, Murphy’s BBQ, White House CIA Chocolate Buffet, Neighborhood Café and Delaney’s Street Eats will make sure you don’t leave hungry. The annual silent auction will have lots of great merchandise up for bid this year including a Florida beach vacation, massages, a Coach bag, granite countertops, gift cards, and more. Plus, we’ll have our FREE Kids Zone with fun and inflatables!

This year the City of White House, TN- Police Department and Fire Department will be partnering with us to host Safety Day at the Expo. The Police Department will be having a bike parade, blood drive, K9 demonstration, SWAT trucks, police cars, and motorcycles ready for the community to learn about! The White House Fire Department will have a little firetruck, a fire safety house, a ladder engine, and so much more.  

Also new to this year’s event, CASA of Robertson County will be hosting Foos Out Wars, a human foosball competition to raise child abuse awareness and prevention. There will be up to 24 teams participating. Contact Stephanie Mullins at 615-382-5066 for more information.
