OBITUARY: Millie Catron Williams

Millie Catron Williams, born March 28, 1926, in Ben Hur, Virginia, passed away peacefully with her angels by her side on Thursday, April 4, 2019, in her home she shared with her beloved sister Dot Poag.

Service will be at Family Heritage Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13. She will lay at rest beside her beloved Bob in Madison, Tennessee, at the Nashville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Avalon Hospice.

Millie was married to the late Robert E. Williams, she called him the love of her life. She is survived by two children: daughter, Gail W. Kenner (husband, late Dolan Kenner) and son, David Woodson and wife Becky; granddaughters, Rebecca Woodson DeFeo (husband, Paul DeFeo); great grandson, Vincent DeFeo (and Stephanie Woodson). Her parents were McKinley Catron Sr. and Golden Vida Moore Catron of Gallatin, Tennessee. She was sister to two brothers and two sisters. John H. Catron and wife, Frances Ina Jean Smith Catron of Gallatin, McKinley Catron Jr. (known as Mack or June) wife, Bonnye C. Catron of Shelbyville, Tennessee; sisters Dorthy Catron Poag (and late husband, Dalcomb F. Poag) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and the late Nathleen Catron Witt Skinner previously of Nashville, Tennessee. Millie had numerous nephews and nieces, grand nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces. She loved and adored each one of them.

Millie retired from Baptist Hospital where she and Bob met. They both enjoyed traveling and lived their lives to the fullest. They both loved the Lord Jesus. She was always encouraging those around her near and far with her words, paintings, cards, and her life.
