Martin J. Grimord, age 80, of Gallatin, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at First United Methodist
Church Gallatin, with the Rev. James Johnson and Dr. Ted Hill officiating. Visitation will be 1– 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at First United Methodist Church Gallatin.
Mr. Grimord was born November 28, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Martin Lester Grimord, Sr. and Cecilia Servia Grimord. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Mary Jane Grimord. He is survived by wife of 42 years, Sandra Rose Grimord of Gallatin; son, Jeffrey M. Grimord (Bao Wen) of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Cheryl L. Schmitz (Michael) of Los Angeles, California; 3 stepchildren, Richard Zachow (Joyce) of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Kristine McCreary of Gallatin, and Robert Zachow (Joanne) of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; brother, William Grimord (Lynn) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sister, Beverly Manthey (Terry) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Mr. Grimord served our country in the United States Air Force. He owned Ladek Metal Products in Wisconsin and owned and operated two restaurants in Arizona. He retired from Sumner Regional Medical Center in 2000.
