Martha Patricia “Pat” McKenzie, of Hendersonville, died on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was age 75.
Born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Mrs. McKenzie grew up in Bell Buckle, Tennessee and Niagara Falls, New York where she graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was a long-time employee of Caldwell Banker Barnes Realty. Mrs. McKenzie was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Trojan; her mother, Thelma Trojan; and her grandson, Christian McKenzie.
Surviving are two sisters, Cheryl Trojan and Candy (Greg) Hagewood; a brother, Paul Trojan; a son, Brad (Toni) McKenzie; two daughters, Brandi (Phil) Allocco, and Bridget McKenzie; eight grandchildren, Brittani (Bobby) Sircy, Michael McKenzie, Maurina Scott-Wise, Caitlin McKenzie, Chloe McKenzie, Presley Eastwood, Foster Allocco, and Asher Ezzell; and 10 great-grandchildren, Alex, Max, Xavier, Dexter, Christopher, MJ, Braxton, Caroline, Hayleigh and Addison.
A Celebration of Life was held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Hendersonville where she was a long-time member. Jeremy Squires officiated at the service. Music was provided by Billy Byrd and pallbearers were friends and family.
