Gail Smith, age 77 of Westmoreland, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, from the chapel of Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Avenue), with Bro. Don Craighead, Bro. Ralph Kidd, and Bro. Doug Parks officiating. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 16, and 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with Clay Smith, Parker Smith, Trey Harrison, Larry Piper, Ray Todd, and Roscoe Smith serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers
are Frosty Gregory, Ron Green, Johnny Catron, Gene Catron, Greg Law, Loyd Smith, and Jeff Smith.
Mrs. Smith was born April 13, 1941 in Gallatin to the late James “Jim” Harrison and Edna Mae Vandercook Harrison. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Harrison. She is survived by husband of 58 years, Harold Thomas Smith of Westmoreland; sons, Tom Smith (Jen) of Knoxville, Glen Smith of Westmoreland, and Tim Smith (Kim) of Nashville; 2 grandchildren,
Clay Smith (Aubrey) and Parker Smith; and 1 great grandchild, Milo Timothy Smith.
She worked with her husband at Smith Brothers Cee Bee grocery store in Westmoreland. She was a long time member of Union Hill Church of Christ.
