Mr. Eligia Nolan Stafford, age 74 of Bethpage, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
Funeral Services for Mr. Stafford will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Woodard Funeral Home.
Mr. Stafford was retired from Fleetwood Homes after 14 years of service. He was a member of New Vision Ministries for the last 4 years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Mr. Stafford was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan Stafford and Lola Rush Stafford; his sister, Grace Jackson; his brother, Pete Stafford; and his daughters, Kathy Roach and Virginia “Jenny” Stafford.
Mr. Stafford is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris Coburn Stafford, Bethpage, Tennessee; his daughters, Betty & (Tracy) Mills, Oak Grove, Tennessee, Teresa & (Richard) Shepler, Lyles, Tennessee, Laura & (Mike) Moore, Seymour, Tennessee, Michelle Bolton, Bethpage, Tennessee, and Suzanne & (Brandon) Dodson, Lafayette, Tennessee; his sons, Donnie Stafford, Bethpage, Tennessee, Eligia Stafford, Jr., Bethpage, Tennessee, Robby Kling, Seymour, Tennessee, and Allen & (Stacy) Stafford, Westmoreland, Tennessee; his brother, Leonard & (Linda) Stafford of Gallatin, Tennessee; more than 40 grandchildren and over 40 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as his beloved goat, Billy.
