Mrs. Agnes Smith Garrison, age 87, of Gallatin, Tennessee, formerly of Westmoreland, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Garrison will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Farthing officiating. Interment will follow in Rippy Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2019, and from 10 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Woodard Funeral Home.
She was a member of Lakeside Church of God of Prophecy. She was retired from the Westmoreland Garment Factory after 15 years of service.
Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Garrison, Jr.; her parents, Earl Smith and Nora Creasy Smith; her siblings, Jerry Smith, Betty Troutt, Kelly Smith, Ronald Smith, Darrell Smith, Kenneth Smith, Jimmy Neal Smith, Mildred Smith and Maxine Borders. She is survived by her sons, Roger & (Lauree) Garrison, Lebanon, Tennessee, and Billy Ray Garrison, Westmoreland, Tennessee; her daughter, Kim & (Eddie) Biggs, Gallatin, Tennessee; her brother, Arnold & (Pat) Smith, Lakeland, Florida; her sisters, Becky Meador, Westmoreland, Tennessee, Glenda & (Rammie) Troutt, Westmoreland, Tennessee, and Joyce Gregory, Westmoreland, Tennessee; along with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
