TDOT road work will go on in Gallatin and Portland

The Tennessee Department of Transportation listed projects in Portland and in Gallatin that will be potentially affecting traffic.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily starting Monday, Jan. 8, there will be a lane closure on State Route 109 northbound north of the SR 52 intersection for replacement of sewer pumps. One lane will remain open.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily in Gallatin there will be lane closures on SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) and SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Boulevard) for installation of a turning lane.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.
