Law enforcement officers with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man suspected of shooting another during an April 5 robbery attempt.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to two addresses in Portland, Tennessee, in regard to a shooting complaint. They found a male victim at a local hospital who had been shot in the leg by a white male suspect during an attempted robbery.
The male suspect was identified as Kenneth Nicholas Carmack, 38, whose whereabouts are unknown at this time.
A notice from the Sheriff’s Office described Carmack as armed and dangerous. He is 5’9″ tall, 180 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes, as well as numerous tattoos on his neck and face.
The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Carmack. Anyone with information is asked to call 615-452-2616. Any and all information can be forwarded to Detective Lisa Byington.
