Realtors find man in vacant house who matches burglar’s description

Realtors preparing to show a house for sale on Thursday found a man inside the vacant residence who was later arrested as a burglary suspect.

Officers with the Hendersonville Police Department charged Lamoniques Sneed with one count of Attempted Aggravated Burglary, one count of Criminal Trespassing and one count of misdemeanor Theft of Property based on three separate investigations that were reported to the police over a three-day period in the Savely Drive area of Hendersonville.

On Wednesday a citizen reported seeing a man matching Sneed’s description looking in the windows of his home and attempting to open the door. Another citizen had reported that items were stolen from the outside of her home the day prior.

The Realtors called police after seeing Sneed inside the house. He was located by police a short distance away. Sneed was interviewed and admitted to his involvement in all of these cases, police said.

Sneed is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on 9-26-18 at 9:00 a.m.
