Hendersonville Police arrest three juveniles for attempted carjacking and auto thefts

On Tuesday July 3, 2018 Hendersonville Police began investigating a vehicle stolen overnight in the
Haddaway Drive area of Hendersonville. On July 7, 2018 a vehicle stolen from Nashville was
recovered by Hendersonville Police on State Route 386.

Just after midnight on July 10, 2018 anattempted carjacking at gunpoint occurred in the Hyatt Place hotel parking lot on East Main Street in Hendersonville. Moments after this carjacking attempt, another vehicle was stolen on  Cabin Branch Circle in Hendersonville.Investigation by Hendersonville Detectives into each of these incidents has resulted in the arrest of three juvenile males from Nashville.

Two 13-year old males were charged with Aggravated Robbery and three counts of Theft over $10,000 in connection with the attempted carjacking and all three stolen vehicles.

A fifteen year old male was charged with two counts of Theft over $10,000 in connection with the vehicle stolen from Haddaway Drive and the stolen vehicle from Nashville officers recovered on State Route 386.

These three juveniles remain in custody with court dates pending in Sumner County Juvenile
Court. Hendersonville Police would like to remind our residents to keep valuables and car keys
out of their vehicles when they park them and to lock their vehicle doors.
