The full lineup for the first ever Fire on the Water Music festival was revealed Tuesday afternoon.
Added to this years already loaded lineup includes the Aquaducks, Mike Scott, The Parks, and Snakehips.
They join Jamestown Revival, Framing Hanley, Lucie Silvas, Gabe Dixon, Casey Weston, Sun Seeker, and Daniel Donato.
The music festival will take place on Saturday August 18, at the lake at Lock 4 in Gallatin from noon until 11 p.m.
Gallatin Mayor Paige Brown says the festival is crafted to attract festival goers.
“We were looking to attract music lovers that love music that you don’t necessarily see everywhere,” Brown said.
Brown says this is a great follow up event after hosting a successful Eclipse party last year.
“We knocked the Eclipse out of the park and had such great feedback with local tourism dollars,” Brown added. “We thought this was a great opportunity and we wanted to have the festival on the water and thought Lock 4 Park was a great place to have the event.”
Brown believes the view on the lake will create a great music experience for locals and visitors to Sumner County.
Gallatin Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kim Baker says the lineup is diverse and strong for Gallatin’s first music festival.
“We know that the lineup is key for many to make a ticket purchase and has been long anticipated,” Baker said. “We wanted to wait until the time was right, and that time has arrived! We feel that the festival lineup will be well-received and enjoyed by all who attend.”
Other types of entertainment include performers of Beyond Wings which is a circus company that includes an elite group of professional fire dancers, aerialist flyers, and glow LED acts.
Several food trucks are already confirmed for the festival including Cousins Maine Lobster, The Grilled Cheeserie, Banh, Mi & Roll Factory, Music City Brisket, Hoss Loaded Burgers, Retro Sno, and Fruit Tea Chicks.
Tickets start at $25 with two types of parking tickets that will be sold separately. Children age five and under are admitted at no charge.
