The library will wave $1 in fines for each non-perishable food item donated. They will donate all collected food to White House Hope Food Bank.

Food must be unopened and cans must not be dented. All donations must have a clear, legible expiration date and must not be expired.

The library will only wave overdue fees. Donations will not apply toward lost or damaged item fees.

Library staff noted that Ramen noodles will not being accepted during this program due to their aim to provide nutritious options to the food bank.
