The Sumner County Sheriff’s office is investigating a recent incident wherein a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Highway 76 close to Lee road in White House.
According to the SCSO, the incident occurred at 8:33 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 as an 18-year-old male was walking along Highway 76.
Witnesses said he jumped out in front of a car and was hit. He has serious injuries and was taken by helicopter to a nearby hospital.
The SCSO has yet to release the names of the driver of the vehicle or the pedestrian.
