Phillips names Ann Miller principal at White House High School

Dr. Del Phillips, Sumner County Director of Schools, is pleased to announce he has named Ann
Miller as the principal at White House High School.

Mrs. Miller has served as the assistant principal at White House High School for the past four
years. She has also previously served as a special education teacher and department chair. She
holds a masters degree from Bethel University in educational leadership.

“I am honored to have this opportunity to lead White House High,” Mrs. Miller said. “I want to thank Jeff Cordell, Jeff Bennett, and Scott Langford for guiding and mentoring me throughout my career. It is humbling to follow in the footsteps of such amazing educational leaders. I truly look forward to carrying on the traditions of White House High School.”

Dr. Phillips said Mrs. Miller is a strong instructional leader whose familiarity with the White House community and White House High will serve her well in her new role.

“Ann has already been a big part of creating the culture that makes White House High School a
special place,” Dr. Phillips said. “I am confident she will continue the tradition of Blue Devil Pride and success that the community has come to expect from White House High School.”
