The long-awaited sports bar, Jonathan’s Grille, has officially opened in Hendersonville.
Jonathan’s Grille is a family-operated restaurant which opened its first location in Cool Springs in 1999. Since then six more locations have been opened in the mid-state area, including the latest one in Hendersonville. Jonathan’s Grille was founded by two brothers, Jonathan and Curt Revelette, who are Nashville natives. They wanted to provide the community with a restaurant which could both emphasize quality food and cater to the sports patron alike.
Since the inception of their first restaurant, the brothers have found continued success. Jonathan’s Grille was voted one of CNN’s 101 Best Sports Bars in the U.S. and made the list of Inc. 5000’s fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years. Jonathan’s Grille continues to expand outside of the Nashville area and Jonathan and Curt would like to eventually see Jonathan’s Grille grow throughout the South East region.
Chelsi Gerstenfeld is the General Manager of the Hendersonville location and has been with the company for more than three years. She began her career as a server and bartender at the Spring Hill location. She helped to open the Murfreesboro location and was honored to be promoted to the position of General Manager at the Hendersonville location. Chelsi stated the owners “work to provide a good atmosphere for their employees and try to promote from within the company.” She added, “They care about their employees.” It is the company’s belief that it is important to invest in their employees. They believe it is crucial to the quality service their staff provides which they see as a part of their brand.
Chelsi shared the restaurant has been “crazy busy” since its opening, for both lunch and dinner. The owners chose Hendersonville believing it was a market ripe for growth and a place where they could have great success. Jonathan’s Grille strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere and wants “to be a part of the community.” They see themselves as “an upscale sports bar with excellent service, food, and cold beer.”
Jonathan’s Grille has over 30 beers on tap which include rotating taps and features selections from local breweries such as BriarScratch Brewing out of Cottontown. The restaurant has 55 televisions to ensure everyone’s favorite game is always on. They also have daily specials which include 2-1 beers, lower prices on appetizers and other customer favorites. Jonathan’s is located at 307 Indian Lake Blvd. To see the full menu, visit jonathansgrille.com
