Beginning Tuesday, July 10, about 100 teams from all over Tennessee will be participating in the Game 7 World Series Baseball tournament at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Tournament games will continue all week.
Registration begins on Tuesday with fun activities being held for guests and the surrounding communities, including a free concert with Nashville’s next biggest country star and former “The Voice” contestant, Natalie Stovall. Payton Taylor, another contestant on a musical show, American Idol, who is a resident of Hendersonville, will be opening this show which starts at 7 p.m.
There will be food trucks available, and more will be available throughout the week.
The Sumner County Tourism Board is sponsoring this event.
Baseball begins at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, and will continue through Sunday, July 15.
A free movie, The Sandlot, will be presented Thursday at Drakes Creek Park. Bring a blanket or chairs, grab some food at the concession stand.
Then cheer on the teams this weekend as they battle it out in the tournament at Drakes Creek Park to
see who will bring home the trophy.
This marks the first year the city has ever hosted the series.
